Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
